Hard work feels good.
It also feels good that I have that ski resort of a driveway entrance shoveled. So now Vann and myself don’t have to ride our skid plates into the driveway to park anymore. Woot!

Good movie. Not a great movie. But a good movie.
This occasion is a unique one. Because right now I am thinking to myself: “That movie didn’t follow the book in the least. — Thank God!”
For those of you who have read the book, you know that if they had attempted to stay accurate to the book, the movie would have bombed hardcore. There would be no way, no matter how much you molested the original, that you could pull a decent ‘happy’ ending out of it.
Anyway, not a bad $7 for those who have nothing to do this week.
Heh. I just found out that an old friend of mine has recently acquired a significant other of opposite sex.
I’m having one of those “how did it come to this?” moments. He’s one of those guys who you can easily picture being a virgin at 28. I believe I recant him once saying that he would never date anyone. I’m thrilled to death that he has a girlfriend. He’s been a long time coming for one of those, so I feel no spite. Just thought it was funny.
I leave for two whole days and when I get back the wood pellet stove is broken.
Apparently no one has stopped to clean the thing out the last couple days. It seems they have just kept feeding it fuel like it was designed to run indefinitely. So when the ash built up, the pellets had no where to go but in. The inside of the pellet feed got so hot that it melded the auger right off.
Incredible. Coldest night of the year, and there is no heat.
I imagine this post with be like the one for Plain City. Minus of course the crazy shenangians on the way down.
The only thing I can really say at the moment is that you guys have got to see the stars when you are away from city lights. It’s un-fuggin-believable. You can see nebulae, meteors almost every 20 seconds and the band of the milky way. It’s insane. I actually stopped halfway down for like 15 minutes to look.
Anyway, one day down. One to go. See….whoever tomorrow.
So who here got to race Go Karts for their company party?
I did. It was entertaining as hell.
I’d like to thank the New Horizons SLC owners for first off providing me and everyone else with something exceedingly entertaining to do this evening. Secondly I’d also like to thank Mr. Dave Butterfield for rear ending me in the final race at wide open throttle on what I was confident was going to be my best lap, causing everyone and their dog to pass me and securing my custody of the Skunked trophy. ;)
But seriously, it was awesome. Many thanks.
Past that, I’ve been wedged into a work onsite in Salina, Utah. I have to drive out there tomorrow night and I’ll be there until Tuesday evening. I will no doubt be updating my site often from the drudgery.
Anyone who wants to go with is more then welcome to. Company would be awesome. Lol.
That’s one more off the list!
Fuck yeah!
Three nightmares in a row. I think that’s a new personal record.
It really thrown my groove off. For example, yesterday I forgot my belt. And then today, I almost left my house without my tie, but I remembered, so no worries; I have my tie. — But I forgot my belt.
It’s not like anyone will really mind, but I forget my tie/belt/clothing about as much as I forget the keys to my car.
If this keeps up I’m going to show up to work without any pants one day.
So I saw this deer when earlier when Vann and myself went to go clean houses. It was just standing right there on the grass in front of this place.
It was funny as hell. It just stared as us like he was giving us the raised chin and saying, “Whatcha gonna do, huh? Yeah, nothin’. That’s right. Keep driving ya fucks.”
